Brief History and Establishment:
NAWJN was established by a group of visionary women judges to address the unique challenges faced by women in the judiciary and advocate for gender equality.
The association has grown into a vibrant network committed to enhancing the role of women in the justice sector.
It has played a significant role in legal reforms, capacity building, and community advocacy over the years.
The inaugural meeting of the Association was held on Saturday, May 25, 1991.
The Association is a member of the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ).
